SEL Sport Appearance Package
The available SEL Sport Appearance Package makes a strong style statement. Outside, you'll find dark headlamps, a unique front grille, a rear spoiler, mirror caps and skid plates in Magnetic, plus 19-inch Magnetic-painted wheels. Inside, the package includes premium cloth seats with Umber Miko suede inserts and floor mats with Edge logo.

The overall craftsmanship and attention to detail can be seen both inside and out of Edge Titanium. The interior features a standard leather-wrapped steering wheel and perforated leather-trimmed sport bucket seats. Other smart touches include standard metal-plated accents, mechanical stripe aluminum applique, illuminated scuff plates and ambient lighting. The exterior design features a bright beltline molding matched with chrome accents and standard 19-inch wheels. Also available are 20-inch wheels.

The 2018 Edge offers available driver-assist technologies to help give you confidence on the road. The Ford Safe and Smart Package, includes a front 180-degree camera, BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert, Lane- Keeping System, adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning with brake support, auto-dimming driver's sideview mirror, auto-high beams and Front Rain-Sensing Wipers.
SYNC® 3
SYNC® 3 brings the power of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Ford. Use Siri to interact with your iPhone®® or Google™ to interact with your Android while keeping your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. Apple CarPlay gives you access to Apple Music, Maps, make phone calls, send messages and more. With Android Auto, you can interact with your Google™ Maps to receive voice-guided navigation, live traffic information and estimated travel time. You can also connect to Google™ Now and Google™ Music.
BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert
The available BLIS® with cross-traffic alert helps make driving more convenient. It uses radar to detect a vehicle in your blind spot and can alert you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-traffic alert helps detect traffic approaching from the sides when you're slowly backing out of parking spots.
Lane-Keeping System
The available Lane-Keeping System includes both the lane-keeping alert and the lane-keeping aid. The system can operate during the day or night. Lane-keeping alert warns you through a series of steering wheel vibrations, which mimic driving over a rumble strip, should the system detect an unintentional lane departure. Lane-keeping aid actively applies steering torque, which alerts you to direct your vehicle back into the target lane should the system detect an unintended lane departure.
Enhanced Active Park Assist
Ultrasonic sensors measure the distance from other vehicles, and once an appropriate spot is identified, you're signaled to stop and accept the system's assistance. While you're driving slowly near parking spots, activate this feature and Edge will scan for available ones. With a few actions on your part - shifting, accelerating and braking - the vehicle can smoothly parallel park or back into a perpendicular parking space.
Rain-Sensing Wipers and Auto-Dimming Exterior Mirrors
Edge offers smart features that take care of the little things so you can focus on the road. When activated by the driver, the available rain-sensing wipers turn on when rain or snow is detected on the windshield. You can even select the sensitivity level. Adding to the convenience factor, exterior mirrors automatically dim in bright light for enhanced visibility.
Front 180-Degree Camera with Washer

2.7L EcoBoost®
The 2018 Sport delivers all the pickup, horsepower and torque you'll need to keep you in the fast lane. That's because it's powered by our dynamic twin-turbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost® engine that features a light compact graphite iron engine block and aluminum heads. This lightweight powerhouse can crank out an impressive 315 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque.68 So get behind the wheel of the Sport and feel the thrill of a 2.7L EcoBoost® — the most powerful gas V6 engine in its class.
Twin-Scroll 2.0L EcoBoost®
In addition to a unique twin-scroll turbocharger, the 2.0L EcoBoost® engine features an integrated exhaust manifold optimized for the twin-scroll setup and an active oil control system. A high-pressure direct-injection fuel system delivers the precise amount of fuel, and the active wastegate accurately manages boost and torque levels. This technology helps to produce 245 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque.
3.5L Ti-VCT V6
The optional 3.5L twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) V6 delivers 280 horsepower and 250 lb.-ft. of torque. With conventional valve timing, the intake and exhaust valves have to open and close at a fixed point, compromising performance. But Ti-VCT virtually eliminates this compromise. With its variable control of valve cam timing, Ti-VCT can optimize performance across the entire low, mid and high ranges of the power band to match driving conditions.
Edge Sport
The 2018 Edge Sport is powered by an athletic twin-turbo 2.7L EcoBoost® engine that delivers an impressive 315 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. And adding to all the thrills that come with that much power and performance, Edge Sport has standard intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD), adaptive steering, sport-tuned suspension and monotube shocks that contribute to an extraordinary ride, comfort and handling control - especially on uneven surfaces.
Adaptive Steering
Adaptive steering dynamically adjusts the steering response of the front wheels based on how fast Edge is moving. At low speeds, adaptive steering allows the front wheels to turn more, with less turning of the steering wheel, giving you more low-speed agility. At highway speeds, the system further optimizes steering response, enabling the vehicle to react more smoothly and precisely to driver input. Adaptive steering can help the driver feel more comfortable and can make any drive more enjoyable.
Adaptive cruise control & forward collision warning with brake support
Available adaptive cruise control isn't conventional cruise control. When its radar sensor detects traffic slowing ahead, your vehicle also slows down. After traffic has cleared, your vehicle resumes the preset speed. This system lets the driver set distance, speed and the time gap between vehicles. Another feature, forward collision warning with brake support, can alert you if it senses a potential collision with the car in front of you. A heads-up display will flash on the windshield. Adaptive cruise control is included in the Ford Safe and Smart package.
Auto Start-Stop Technology
Auto Start-Stop Technology is standard on SE 2.0L EcoBoost® FWD models and can help reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emissions during city driving. When the vehicle comes to a stop and is idle, the engine automatically shuts off and then seamlessly restarts when you step on the accelerator or when your foot leaves the brake pedal.
Six-Speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission with Paddle Shifters
You don't have to know how to drive a manual transmission or learn how to master a clutch to enjoy the sporty feel of shifting gears. Using race-inspired technology, the steering wheel-mounted paddles provide an engaged driving experience by letting you easily and quickly go from gear to gear without taking your hands off the wheel.

Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
Intelligent AWD uses sensors to constantly monitor traction to assist you through all types of weather and various road conditions. It balances torque between the front and rear wheels to enhance handling and maximize traction, typically before wheelslip can even occur.
Class II Trailer Tow Package
Available on Edge SEL and Titanium, along with either the standard twin-scroll 2.0L EcoBoost® or available 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 engine, the Class II Tow Package has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. Trailer sway control helps you tow confidently by automatically determining from the motion of the vehicle if the trailer is swaying. It then takes measures, such as applying precise braking or reducing engine torque, to help keep both the vehicle and the trailer under control.
Individual Tire-Pressure Monitoring System
Standard on all 2018 Edge models, Individual Tire Pressure Monitoring System monitors air pressure amounts for each tire and will illuminate a warning light on the cluster screen if the pressure on any one of your tires goes below the recommended tire inflation level.
Hands-Free, Foot-Activated Liftgate
With the Intelligent Access key in your pocket or purse, just give a little kick under the rear bumper and the available hands-free, foot-activated liftgate automatically opens — making it easier to load and unload cargo. You can also adjust the liftgate height, which is helpful for lower overhangs.
Cargo Capacity
The total passenger volume is 113.9 cu. ft. with 39.2 cu.ft. behind the second row. And when the second-row seats are folded down, you'll find up to 73.4 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the front row. There's also the available second-row EasyFold seat release that lets you maximize your cargo space with the touch of a button.
